Cycle Machine of the century - Fitron Cycle Erometer - review

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Fitness is a big deal to people who like to be healthy, studies show that fit people consider fitness one of their top values in life. Exercise equipment is a fantastic aid in the search for fitnessing people. Through the years many gimmicks have come and done, we all know the old ab roller or the cheek squeezer or the infamous Total Gym, what a pile of junk.

The best machine ever made for peak fitness is the one and only FITRON Cycle-Ergometer.

I wont try and say to much about this wonderful machine, I’ll let the pictures and fabulous video do the talking for me.

amazing technology

As you can see from this photograph, the Fitron 2000 uses the latest in air-pushing technology.

There is a giant dial which is more than just impressive, it actually displays the current wind velocity and biometric pressure being exerted from the centrifugal force being driven by your massive leg muscles.
amazing technology again

But be certain if you really want to get in shape don’t waste your time with anything else! Machines and technology like this doesn’t come cheap, I saw the price tag on this one and let me just say I’ll keep my gym membership, but if you want to see this baby in action check out the sweet high tech video we captured using out vidoeagrapher 10000. It is rad.

Creating my new logo

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

Step 1:

IFor my new site look I wanted to create a new logo. I started with the idea that I wanted a new logo, I also wanted to use a blackletter type font, kind of chunky. so I began with some reference material and a pen and pad.

I then played with the second “e” and the “r” turning them backwards in order to give the logo more balance, I liked it and went with it.

logo scan

Step 2:

After I got some ideas down, I took them to the scanner and dropped them in Illustrator. I played with highlight strokes, inner artwork (as you can see in the blue) as well as various font thicknesses and decorative squiggles as can be seen in the final.

logo work

Step 3:

Once I had the lettering the way I wanted I began adding more styling. I referenced other calligraphy and decorative, fancy squiggles, playing with different strokes until i was happy with the basic design

Step 4:

I then took the design on over to Photoshop. I did some ideas for the entire site design so that I could match the logo colors up. I added a light stroke and tried various fills and gradients. You can see below that I had a few variations, one day I thought it was perfect and the next I was changing all the colors and size.

Final Product

I am happy with the final product. i hope you enjoyed seeing the creation process of the Glenerd logo.

Choose to be Brave

my brave nephew

Consider for a moment the following quote “Fortune favors the brave” - Aeneid Virgil. I believe in life that most people are living life in “quiet desperation”, they fill helpless, they fill like victims, they have the mentality that the world or someone owes them something. Too many walk around with hang-dog expressions on there face, they don’t know who they really are and they are clueless as to there full-potential, their God-given gifts and talents.
I know because I to have felt this way. I have questioned my purpose in life. But fortunately, slowly I have woken up from a deep sleep, I have begun to really think and better yet to really understand myself. “Prosperity begins with self-interest” As an intelligent creation I am self-aware and realize that I must help myself before I can help anyone else. I must choose to be brave and so do you otherwise you will spend your life in misery.

Being brave does not mean having certainty, in fact it’s usually uncertain but it is significant and in most cases pushes us toward growth. What are you doing that requires bravery? Sometimes it is a simple thing like the courage to face the death of a loved one or choosing to stand up for what you know to be right even when everyone else seems to be enjoying the wrong.

When choosing to be an entrepreneur bravery is required. In my quest I will be brave. Again I ask you; What are you doing that requires bravery?
