Cycle Machine of the century – Fitron Cycle Ergometer – review

Fitness is a big deal to people who like to be healthy, studies show that fit people consider fitness one of their top values in life. Exercise equipment is a fantastic aid in the search for fitnessing people. Through the years many gimmicks have come and done, we all know the old ab roller or the cheek squeezer or the infamous Total Gym, what a pile of junk.

The best machine ever made for peak fitness is the one and only FITRON Cycle-Ergometer.

I wont try and say to much about this wonderful machine, I’ll let the pictures and fabulous video do the talking for me.

amazing technology

As you can see from this photograph, the Fitron 2000 uses the latest in air-pushing technology.

There is a giant dial which is more than just impressive, it actually displays the current wind velocity and biometric pressure being exerted from the centrifugal force being driven by your massive leg muscles.

But be certain if you really want to get in shape don’t waste your time with anything else! Machines and technology like this doesn’t come cheap, I saw the price tag on this one and let me just say I’ll keep my gym membership, but if you want to see this baby in action check out the sweet high tech video we captured using out vidoeagrapher 10000. It is rad.

This is a fluid resistance trainer not “latest in air-pushing technology”. The dial controls the flow of fluid that is going through the pump. Setting it to a lower RPM reduces the amount of fluid that can flow through the system increasing the resistance and reducing the pedal RPM.

I own this bike and if you need parts for this bike, go to buymedtech.com. They will stock parts for this bike forever. I talked to them. My bike is 29 years old and the company still produces the exact same bike with a little improvement here and there. I paek $895.00 for it in 1980. The same bike now costs $4,000.00. It’s the best bike you can get. Those electronic bikes are crap. Talk to any professiona athlete and they will only use this bike and nothing else. It’s extremely durable. I am looking to buy the original used model for parts. Can’t seem to sepnd $900.00 for a new valve kit. I hope I’m helpful to all of you bike owners out there. Peace and have a safe Easter.

I have an extra seat available for 50.00 plus shipping. However I would recommend changing the seat to a conventional bike seat. Find an old steel seat post and mount a seat to it. Remove the old Fitron seat and slide the seat post into the square pipe. Mark two spots on the seat post through the holes on the square tube. remove the tube from the seat and pre-drill the two holes. Using to large sheet metal screws attach the seat post to the fitron. Re-install the seat and adjust like you would on your conventional bike. I used two extra sheet metal screws I had from a garage door I installed. This really improves the ride of the bike. Also try turning the handle bars 180 degrees. It’s a lot more like riding a road bike. I also installed a bike computer by taping a magnet to the crank sprocket and tie wrapping the cadence sensor to the frame. Nice to know your real cadence or pedal RPM.
